Hands-on Exercise: The Trace Hunt
1. The Goal
- Connect your local Python script to LangSmith.
- Run an agent that uses at least 3 tools.
- Go to the LangSmith dashboard and find the specific "Tool Call" for search.
- Identify which step took the most amount of time (Latency).
2. The Implementation Plan
- Set the
LANGCHAIN_TRACING_V2=trueenv var. - Execute the script.
- Look for the "Trace" with your project name.
- Share the URL with a (hypothetical) colleague.
