1. What is an "AI-First" Strategy?
It is the belief that every product, process, and decision can be improved by the application of intelligence derived from data. It moves the business from Static (the rules never change) to Dynamic (the system learns every day).
2. The Data Flywheel
This is the most famous strategy at Amazon.com and is a high-probability concept for the exam.
- Build a Product: Launch an AI feature (e.g., a recommendation bot).
- Gain Users: Customers use the bot because it is helpful.
- Collect Data: Every interaction between the user and the bot is recorded in Amazon S3.
- Improve the Model: Use that data to re-train the model, making it smarter.
- Better Product: Because the model is smarter, even more users come.
The Strategy: The faster the flywheel spins, the harder it is for a competitor to catch you, because they don't have your Data.
3. The Three Pillars of Execution
To execute this strategy, an organization needs:
- Technology: The AWS Services we've learned (Bedrock, SageMaker).
- Process: Agile workflows that allow for fast experimentation.
